While the Family Forest Software was an equal to the Genealogy Detective in utility and functionality, however I was very displeased at the price of the product.
The software is only available on CD-ROM, so setup time requires delivery, but once the CD arrived, installation was very wasy. I was also impressed with the simple, effective, and relatively attractive interface of the software.
This product would have recieved a better rating if not for lack of bonus software and limited system compatibility. The system compatibility is limited to Windows 95 or later.
Genealogy Software Search has decided that because of the high price, and limited compatibility the Family Forest recieves 1 thumb up for utility and a 3/10 rating.
